I purchased in Fall 2025, and replaced with same unit in 2026. Filter is well made with included braided connector, easy to install. After 2 1/2 years I decided to replace due to subtle chlorine taste, I tested the filter's efficiency with the included test kit and it was under the threshold concentration for warranty replacement of 0.25 ppm. I detected a slight taste that may have been from other contaminates than chlorine, and decided to replace the filter. New filter provides cleaner taste and suspect other contaminates may have been passing through filter. I figured I treated approximately 2,500 gallons, cold water used from kitchen sink.

Great product! Was easy to install and came with almost everything I needed. I wanted to run my main faucet separately (to extend the life of this filter) so I also installed a T-junction and another hose to a cold water faucet installed in the hole in the sink to the right of the main faucet (usually reserved for spray?). There’s room on it to write the date when it was installed. Test the water after six months, and then swap out for a new filter. It is made of good material and is a bit heavy to lift specially for under sink placement. The water flow is good.
